Based out of Korea, Soju, is a spirit that is slowly become more popular stateside. It's very similar to vodka and is color and odorless; it's traditionally made from rice instead of the usual starches of potatoes, barley or wheat. Traditionally you serve it in a shot glass and sip it, I typically like to drink it with some fresh squeezed grapefruit juice-very refreshing. It is also very cheap-which I like! A bottle cost me $4 and with a shot glass, you can get quite a few rounds for your buck.
Have you ever tried soju before?
