A Photo Story of my Grandmother's Final Journey

My grandmother past away last November and after the funeral, her remaining children divided her ashes to spread them around in different locations that held meaning to both her as well as her children. Since my grandmother was originally from the Northern Hills in Thailand, some of my aunts and uncle (who all live in Thailand) made the trip from flying from Las Vegas where the funeral was held (as she had lived with my parents since I was twelve) to Bangkok and then driving into the northern hills of Thailand where her remaining ashes are in the local temple. I Think the Ship is Getting Ready to Sail...

Angelina Joie will always be considered a sex symbol, however I don't think I'm the only one who thought she was trying too hard during Sunday night's Oscars. I mean....come on-who poses like that in every photo op? She even did it while she was presenting Best Adapted Screenplay. It was so in-your-face that one of the winners, Jim Rash poked fun of it during his acceptance speech lol

I always love when I get a 3 day weekend, although unfortunately this time around I had to come into work on Saturday, but I can't complain (too much) since I got quite a lot of work done and even got a little ahead so I don't have to worry about opening up my inbox come Tuesday AM. 

I also love 3 day weekends because it makes the coming work week seem that much closer to the next weekend! :-) So cheers to our President's for giving us all a day to catch up on our tv shows, sleep in, and do those things around the house that you never would with just 2 days off .
